This network, formed by Dr. Norma McLauchlin, the First Lady of New Life Bible Church and CEO of Norma McLauchlin Ministries, as a result of a longstanding burden regarding ministers’ mates. While serving as a minister's mate, herself, for more than 40 years, Dr. McLauchlin went through a number of 'growing pains' which allow her to identify with the needs and desires of other ministers’ mates.  The overall purpose the Ministers' Mate Network is to ensure that ministers’ mates are fully equipped not only to support their minister and families in the ministry but to also glorify God in their own calling and giftedness (Titus 2:3-5).

Goal Statement
To Support, Encourage, and Empower Ministers’ Mates in all phases of their lives.

Support: Hebrews 13:21 tells you that God will “equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever.” You are meant for service, however, sometimes you may be met with the challenge of feeling unprepared for the role. We want you to rely on the promises of scripture, just as in Hebrews, that you have been equipped to do His will, for His people, in this time. The Ministers’ Mate Network is designed to help you through the struggles and pain in order to conquer the fears that keep you held back from walking confidently in the will of God

Encourage: According to Lois Evans, 4000 new churches are planted every year. That is an encouraging thought. However, at the same time, over 7000 churches are lost to ministry burnout, financial distress, and lack of membership. But the encouragement comes with the planting because we know and believe that the harvest is coming soon. As women of faith, we join with one another for the planting of hope, the watering of faith, and the growth that comes with sharing the gift of ministry with each other. We are here to encourage women to gather side by side, in the unity of economy, race, and creed, to corporately encourage the body of pastors’ wives to be better women, mothers, wives, and Christians.

Empower: Mates are empowered. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells you that if you trust in the Lord then He will direct your path. You are empowered to succeed in ministry, and God wants you to embrace it with the knowledge that He is in control.
